Short Bio 

Kevin D. Barnes works with organisations that want people who think clearly, adapt quickly, and perform when it matters.

With experience that includes the British Army, bodyguard and covert armed security work, and a lifetime studying human behaviour - he shares stories and insights around turning resistance into leverage by recognising what influences your thinking before it shapes the outcome. â€‹His presentations are challenging, engaging, different ...but very relatable.

When searching for explosives, protecting lives, or escorting goods with a 9mm pistol under your jacket, you quickly learn that thinking after the fact is too late. 

 

With over 38 years of experience - including serving in the British Army in hostile environments and search team operations, civilian bodyguard work, covert armed security, and a lifetime studying human behaviour - Kevin D. Barnes has seen what happens when pressure, uncertainty, and thinking collide.

 

Using this knowledge and understanding, Kevin created Link Thinking and developed Tactical Advantage: a lens people use to turn resistance into leverage - and to recognise what influences their thinking before it shapes the outcome - increasing awareness, clarity, and adaptability when it matters most. His presentations are challenging, engaging, different ...but very relatable.
